Foul Existense
Being a punk/hardcore band in Ft. Pierce Florida, in the mid 1980’s, certainly proved to be problematic for the fun-loving Foul Existense. Banned from playing in the city and with the cops being their biggest fans while attending almost every show, The Foul would often find refuge in the woods playing through a generator on skate ramps or wherever else they could. Being skaters, they didn’t mind, but bad luck would always follow them. Arrests, car crashes, being chased by rednecks w/chainsaws, inebriation, etc., plagued the group and eventually they all went their own way. The upcoming Ponk CD release titled “Mind Your Manor” (named after the Foul Manor where the crew lived and which was eventually reduced to cinders) is a document of classic hardcore from the sunshine state.
